Puerto Vallarta is getting 911

The 911 emergency response system is being put in place across Mexico and is ready to be launched in Puerto Vallarta, but the city doesn’t have enough money to buy all the radios required to fully implement it. While PV First Responders have been doing an incredible job with current response times averaging 10 minutes, when fully implemented, the new 911 system will bring the average response time down to just 6 minutes, a significant improvement which will result in many more lives being saved in our community. A grass roots organization of concerned citizens and business owners are currently trying to raise the funds required to purchase all the necessary radios.  When the funds are raised, 911 will be fully implemented in the Banderas Bay area.

Each radio costs $8,000 pesos and 150 radios are required to fully realize the 911 system.  If you would like to help with raising funds for these radios, please visit the gofundme account at  https://www.gofundme.com/PV911/donate/?upsell=cpgn_share and make a donation.
