New condo developments in Puerto Vallarta will generally come with a complete appliance package ranging from a basic package of stove, range hood and refrigerator to a complete package that may include high-end appliances like washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and perhaps a wine fridge or other additional touch.
When buying a house in Puerto Vallarta, appliances are often not part of the sale, be it new construction or resale. A stovetop is generally included and may include a range hood, but not always. Ovens are not as common in Mexico and your new home in Puerto Vallarta may or may not come with an oven, or indeed, even a space for an oven. The same holds true for dishwashers and garbage disposals.
Homeowners often take their refrigerator with them after selling a house in Puerto Vallarta and washers and dryers aren’t in every home, as laundry services here are plentiful and inexpensive, but almost every home comes with a “service patio” or laundry room with space for stackable or side-by-side machines.
While it does strike some buyers as odd to not see all the appliances included when purchasing a home in Puerto Vallarta, not having appliances is generally factored into the asking price for the home and allows the new owner to purchase the type and style of appliances that best suit them. And when buying a fully furnished home or condo in Puerto Vallarta, which are frequently offered on the market, a buyer can usually expect all large appliances to be included in the sale.
